Re: No autoptacher anymore?

Well, though I didn't want to as I prefer AutoPatcher, I've unfortunately had to move to WSUSOffline for a way to do offline Windows (and Office) updates. It tends to be far larger as far as storage and doesn't have a nice GUI, but seems to work well enough. I hope there is a comeback for AutoPatche...

Re: A Bit Quiet in Here

I LOVED UBCD4WIN! I still have a dvd or two with it around. Without WAC looks like we are on hard times. He was the main guy for updating the scripts. I really, really, really, should finish work on making the new scripting tool to make it easy for anyone to do it without screwing up. Yea, I loved ...

Re: A Bit Quiet in Here

Re: Microsoft Makes Major Changes to the Way It Updates Windows 7 and 8.1

Finally, this should have happened ages ago, or at least they should have released a SP2 for Windows 7. I know that the Convenience Roll-up they released in April-May this year as well as the July Windows Update client hotfix greatly reduces the amount of updates needed starting from a clean install...

Re: Windows 10 Updates

Excellent... except one thing. MS has prevented anyone from directly downloading the win 10 updates except through a secure connection (Microsoft Update Catalog) using ONLY a plugin for only internet explorer. We can not make a script that would download updates for windows 10. We can make scripts ...
