Clicked the link and downloaded an MSU file 477MB in size. Looked inside it with 7zip, appears to be crammed full of microsofty things. Ran it, twiddled thumbs awhile as it ran, "Installation Complete, you must restart your computer yadayada" *reboot*

This is why I keep an APUP archive around on memory-stick. Even if it only gets me up to May, it's a HELLUVA lot faster than waiting for it all to come down from Windows Update; as far as old updates showing up, it seems like it's always done that, for me at least.

I'm sorry, but unless they make some =massive= changes to WinX or whatever iteration they're calling it at that point, they will still have to pry Win7 out of my cold, dead fingers. Otherwise, it's Linux or Luddism...
