Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates

You probably do not have that update then or if you do have it... it might be under something different but still similar. Try just searching for KB4034664 Sry, life inconveniently intervened the past coupla days. I searched the registry for that string, still came back with no hits - would running...

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates

Clicked the link and downloaded an MSU file 477MB in size. Looked inside it with 7zip, appears to be crammed full of microsofty things. Ran it, twiddled thumbs awhile as it ran, "Installation Complete, you must restart your computer yadayada" *reboot*

ok, back, seems to have worked. :)

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates

This is why I keep an APUP archive around on memory-stick. Even if it only gets me up to May, it's a HELLUVA lot faster than waiting for it all to come down from Windows Update; as far as old updates showing up, it seems like it's always done that, for me at least.

Re: Windows Vista to Be Discontinued in Less than 30 Days

I'm sorry, but unless they make some =massive= changes to WinX or whatever iteration they're calling it at that point, they will still have to pry Win7 out of my cold, dead fingers. Otherwise, it's Linux or Luddism...

Re: Let’s Chat: Is Windows 7 Really Outdated?

I will run WinX when Hell freezes over and the Devil is seen ice-skating by no less than three accredited witnesses. I'll transition to Linux first.
