Re: Autopatcher v6.1 beta

Download a release that applies to your system, maybe 7x64, select a few updates to install (in black), you may need to reboot. Upon reboot and firing up AutoPatcher the selected update should be blue??? If not, check installed updates in Control Panel - is it listed? Search for a log file with the ...

Re: Sweeper Beta Ideas

@ChrisJ --- I think you may be missing my point of view.... am well aware of this, as I stated in my post I made the error of extracting Sweeper 1.3.10 to my current AIO not to the BETA, of course will get the error. I'm just saying that there may be others would would inadvertently do like wise......

Re: Sweeper Beta Ideas

It may be wise to say that this sweeper (1.3.10) is intended only for the autopatcher-B (BETA), I made the error of placing in my APUP/Autopatcher directory and got an error as 7za.exe is located in "apup_bin" not in "\bin" as with the BETA. There may be others that do the same ...

Re: Sweeper Beta Ideas

lol no... I was musing on possible options to add to the program. :) oh, ok, muse away :) i do like the idea of running a test on a single rti(z) rather than all, definately quicker if you have numerous releases in \modules. this thread might be better suited in suggestions rather than testing, sor...

Re: Autopatcher v6.1 beta

I am not fund them. Is the program not making them or is it getting rid of them? when the app is closed you want the temp folders to get deleted, this is good. #AP_Temp# will appear when autopatcher is started -- have a look. \temp_bin will appear when apup (not autopatcher) is started, and/or auto...

Re: Sweeper Beta Ideas

So here it is... LINKY In the interest of keeping the number of files down. Sweeper will get its ini values from Autopatcher.ini i wanted sweeper to be centered, this is usually where our eyes are focused when a program starts. sweeper's width is fine, i only wanted the option to make sweeper a bit...

there are 2, if you have them:

\#AutoPatcher_Temp# -- will be located on your OS installation drive, usually c:\
\temp_bin -- will be located in your \apup directory

Sweeper Beta Ideas

i didnt want to clutter up existing threads, you can delete this topic if you like :) i had mentioned centering sweeper, it looks like 139 does this, thanks :) after thinking about it more, i was wondering if sweeper could be resized to the user's liking as well, and the settings remembered, like ap...

Re: Autopatcher v6.1 beta

you dont want to select 'autopatcher engine 5.7.56' from the list while testing autopatcher 6.1.8 either, leave this unchecked. i was wrong about this, you can have ap 5756 (autopatcher.exe) in the same folder with ap 618b (Autopatcher-B.exe), they both use the same apengine.rtiz which also ignores...

@Shyamsundarsoni
