I believe there's still many WinXP user (including me)... and last April 'scare tactics' doesn't really works.

The security update applied to all Internet Explorer from versions 6 to 11. At least MS had the good notion to include XP updates.

Windows XP is going to one of those that defies to being killed off !!!

I have seen this before I believe. Your downloading two different versions of XP. Only download one version and report progress. (Preferable the English one as it is updated and the Italian is not.)

 Well that is embarrassing. I ran it a dozen times and didn't notice that. Works prefect, sorry, my bad.

Well, it depends. There are reports that you can lie about the Windows version in order to get updates for an embedded version based off of XP.

Perhaps Autopatcher can stockpile those updates and have a "fork" for Windows XP, or a POSReady 2009 Autopatcher chain can be made?
Also there's the matter of root certificates - I'm leaning towards stealing whatever the Linux folk are using.
And then there's the updates they're getting in the UK, they'll probably get leaked.

This was discussed here http://autopatcher.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=155

We will not be adding these updates as a fork or otherwise to the Windows XP x86... THIS IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL'S DECISION, WE WILL TAKE NO PART IN IT

If you wish to create your own release for your autopatcher go ahead but remember that autopatcher will display "UNOFFICIAL"

Hi,

I've had good results with AutoPatcher as of late. Is there any chance the XP Media Center Updates could be added, as well as .Net 1.0 updates? How about MSE v4.4 which is good for XP for another year?

Thanks,
