Dear:
I run APUP and selected some items in the list, then autopatcher was created. When I run autopatcher, the information appeared.

Generating tree ... no compatible items found
Re: Generating tree ... no compatible items found
It means you selected scripts that were not for your computer.
If you run XP you select XP scripts. If you run Windows 7 you select windows 7 scripts and so on.

Re: Generating tree ... no compatible items found
I run Win7 -86, and select win7 -86 scripts, but it couldn't work!

Dear:
How can I supply the logfile?
Does the logfile mean "apup.log" or "autopatcher.log"?
Thank you very much!

Please supply both the "apup.log" and "autopatcher.log"
Please refer to http://autopatcher.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=118 on how to post the log files

Dear:
I had tried some times, but the condition of failure was different from before.
I ran APUP and selected some items in the list, then autopatcher was created. When I ran autopatcher, it failed and the information appeared. However, I ran autopatcher again, then it worked.

Re: Generating tree ... no compatible items found
@myauto --- apup appears to be downloading the selected release okay. Please try once more, and posting the log, BTW made the posting easier to read by using the spoiler code. Easiest way to use this is to post in Full Editor mode, highlight all information you want then click the Spoiler button, to check if it is correct click the Preview button,if looks ok then Submit the posting
Could you please post the "autopatcher.log" file also, interested in what this reports.
Thanks

Re: Generating tree ... no compatible items found
From what I see in the apup log... IF you have run apup with this same selection multiple times... it seems to keep downloading items over and over again which might be a hidden script issue. Nothing else to say until we get to see the autopatcher log. When you upload the log... tell us whether autopatcher says in red words at the top right if it is "unofficial".
