I went here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/search/ ... te&First=9 and noticed that the item was listed as Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 - after downloading and installing it listed itself as Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Update 3 - a goof on Microsoft's part, I assume.

Take whatever action you deem necessary.
Checked with AIDA64 Extreme v5.80.4005 beta and it was listed as Visual C++ 10.0.40219.

Re: Microsoft VC++ Redistributable Packages
Gonna leave the release as it stands until such time that MS sort it out..

Re: Microsoft VC++ Redistributable Packages
Just a note to all concerned, IF you install VC++ 2017 and run autopatcher a second time you will notice that VC++ 2015 requires installing (even if you previously had it installed).
Need to check with TheAPGuy about this issue. Will report when solution is at hand
UPDATE: Have been researching the issue and found out that it appears that VC++2017 is an upgrade to VC++2015. This I have verified with searching the registry using regscanner for the version numbers. Also checked the installed updates with similar results.
As I see it, this may create issues with those who game, requiring VC++2015 for their play.
The solution I offer for the time being is to blacklist the VC++ version not required, in this case VC++2017.
Comments welcome..

Re: Microsoft VC++ Redistributable Packages
hmm...sounds dangerous on the part of majorgeek(in that they are throwing pebbles at a bear). Autopatcher got in trouble for storing M$ updates on its server in the past. Other then that... sounds alright. They say it even fixes the minor 2005 glitch(which I did not even know was a thing).
