This thread is to notify users of updates for this script or for others to bring up issues with this script.

Please post information on new Critical (or Recommended) patches here - 'Core' Windows 8 (x64) components and updates. Issues with the Windows 8 script - 'failed', 'missing' files, 'Unofficial' status - error reports belong in the AutoPatcher for Windows 8 (x64) forums. It may help to Search the threads or Start New Topic.

Requirements:

• Windows 8 (x64)
• Internet Connection If Your Downloading The Updates (About ???MB)

If your OS is not patched to the latest Service Pack, most/all updates will be hidden or grayed out (not selectable).

The Windows 8.1 x64 script has been updated for February 2014

Release is flagged as unofficial after updating and sweeping...
Only if Windows8.1-KB2902892-x64.msu is present in both 'Critical' and 'NonCritical' folders does this release appear as "Official Release".

Windows 8.1 x64 updated February 21

Wac do you still have the 8.0 script? Might be useful to leave up in the download list or have a separate list since I am going though this issue now where it won't let me upgrade a laptop to 8.1 without first updating 8.0. and the windows update function on the laptop is retarded. It will only update it I select at most 3 at a time. If I select more then 3 it just sits there for 30 minutes doing nothing. Its a real pain.

I still have the Windows 8 scripts residing on my dropbox, do not have a release list for it any longer..
You need to remember that the script itself is well out of date as was created and last maintained back in November 2013 (over 3 months out of date)

Well damn. lol all of those updates were for windows RT not standard windows 8.

After a few sets of 3 downloads at a time... I gave it a try and now the update function works proper... however it takes like 10 minutes before it starts to download. I will chock it up to slow ass i3 craptop (its a cheap notebook I am working on). Now to back to the standard... download updates.... restart, download updates, restart, mantra.
