Dear Sir,
Errors are in APUP - the Autopatcher Updater program such that I cant download release.list & check the current version of all updates. Please look in the matter of APUP & not in AutoPatcher itself.
Thanks.

Well no... if you were fallowing the project you would know that I have just combined the two programs. Autopatcher version 6 and on, will now download updates. So the same program that installs them can also download them. Its still rather beta but, I think I have worked out all the major bugs and there are just cosmetic things left to work on.

autopatcher 6.1.3 has apup code built-in, autopatcher v6 is becoming both programs, downloader & installer in one. grab the latest beta here - http://autopatcher.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=47 - extract it as usual. when you run autopatcher 6.1.3, it will attempt to get the releases list just like apup does.Shyamsundarsoni wrote:Dear Sir,

since it's beta, you might want to put it in a new folder so it doesn't conflict with your existing releases. please report any problems.
well that was a waste of time

When I download AutoPatcher 6.1.3 & stored in New Folder then run it, which shows me following error. The screen shot & log file of AutoPatcher 6.1.3 is also attached.
What AutoPatcher was trying to do
It appears that the error occured while AutoPatcher was
Trying to get operating system specifics.
Where: APInitialize.PrimaryInit() At Line 0

I see that I forgot to enable line numbering for the primaryint function. Fixed that. I have an idea where its errorring out though. Added a line to possibly fix that. If that doesn't work I will add in a fallback function that will probe the registry for your OS folders.
Updated the beta link to 6.1.4 give that a try.

ok it seems a backup function is in order then. I will ask the registry where things are.
